Uniting Faith and Community: The Clifton Volunteer Day

In Clifton, churches from various denominations collaborate annually to serve their community, sidelining their regular Sunday worship for community service. This initiative, started by the Clifton Ministerial Alliance in 2017-2018, seeks to embody the principles of faith through practical action. Over 260 volunteers participate, engaging in activities like home repairs, debris removal, and visiting the elderly, thereby strengthening community ties and demonstrating the impact of unified service. This initiative not only enriches the lives of recipients but also those of the volunteers, creating a profound sense of community and satisfaction amongst participants.
