Everyday Heroes Providing Safe Meals for Severe Food Allergies

The Food Equality Initiative, featured on Everyday Heroes, is a groundbreaking organization dedicated to providing allergy-friendly meals to families in need. Founded in Kansas City, Missouri, by Emily Brown after she struggled to find safe food for her two daughters with severe allergies, it became the first food pantry specifically stocked for individuals with dietary restrictions. Under the leadership of CEO Erin Martinez, the grassroots nonprofit has grown significantly.
