Danita Brown: An Unexpected Hero in the Fight Against Cancer

Danita Brown, born and educated in Memphis, has been a pillar of strength and service throughout her life. After two decades as an educator and another ten years as a facilitator, Danita's life took an unexpected turn with a cancer diagnosis. This led her to create the Brown Baptist Cancer Support Ministry in 2008. Her initiative has significantly impacted her community, providing transportation, support, and early cancer detection services.
